What do I do if I cannot arrive at 10:00am on Friday?
No problem! You may arrive anytime after 10:00am on Friday. Seating is assigned and your spot is reserved for you.

Can I really crop 24 hours of the day?
Yes! The room is available to our participants at all hours from 10:00am on Friday until 3:00pm on Sunday.

If I can only attend one day, can I get a discount on the registration fee?
No. Registration fees provide you the opportunity to crop for the entire retreat period. You may come and go as you please and opt out of any time or days as you wish. However because your table space will be reserved for you for the entire weekend we cannot discount your registration fee.

I have already paid my registration but can no longer attend, can I receive a
refund?
No. While the registration fee is nonrefundable, IT IS TRANSFERABLE. You may give your registration to someone as a gift or sell it to someone you know. It will be your responsibility to find someone to take your spot.  Please notify Scissors and the City of any and all transfers.

Is there an age requirement for participants, I would like to bring my daughter?
Yes there is an age requirement of 18. While we all love our children, the Scissors and the City Scrapbooking retreats are designed to be a getaway as well as a crop for our participants.

Do I have to stay at the hotel?
No. We have a select amount of rooms set aside at a discounted rate that we suggest you take advantage of the discount as well as the convenience of staying so close to the crop room. However it is not required that you stay at the hotel. Your room is your responsibility to book, wherever you decide.

Does my registration fee include my hotel room?
No.  Hotel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendees. There are a set of rooms at a blocked discounted rate available to you.

Is there adequate lighting to scrapbook during the night?
Yes! The room we will be cropping in has wonderful lighting. The entire room is lit by overhead florescent lights, making it ideal for night owls to scrapbook to their hearts content.

Will there be supplies for use?
There will be many tools for your use including a Cricut, many different punches, scissors and more! These items will be free for you to use.

Can I choose to eat my meals off site?
Yes.  There will be 3 meals provided to you that we would love for you to join us for, however you are not obligated to do so.  Upon arrival you will be informed of the meal times as well what is included for each meal. This will better allow you to make a decision on whether or not to eat with the retreat or off site if you so chose.

I have special dietary needs; can I request food to meet my diet?
No. At this time we are not able to make special accommodations. You will be able to see the menu at check in so that you are able to make proper arrangements.
